Olivia E. Scott Attends the 2026 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles
There are some nights in Los Angeles that remind you exactly why you fell in love with this industry in the first place.
Actress Olivia Scott, professionally known as Olivia E. Scott, attended the 78th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles this September alongside her best friend and fellow actress Leslie Stratton. From the red carpet to the Governors Gala, it was a night celebrating television, storytelling, and the people who bring both to life.
Having spent many years living and working as an actress in Los Angeles before making New York City home, returning to LA for Emmy weekend felt particularly special. The city has been such a significant part of my career, and there was something surreal about being back surrounded by so many talented actors, filmmakers, writers, producers, casting professionals, and creatives gathered to celebrate television.
A Vintage Dolce & Gabbana Emmy Look
For the evening, I wore a vintage red Dolce & Gabbana gown, an off-the-shoulder, fitted silhouette that felt like the perfect combination of classic Hollywood and modern red carpet.
I’ve always loved fashion that feels timeless rather than overly trend-driven, and wearing vintage Dolce & Gabbana for the Emmys made the night feel even more special. The deep red gown also happened to look pretty perfect against an Emmy backdrop, something I may or may not have considered when choosing it.

Celebrating the Emmys With Leslie Stratton
One of the best parts of the experience was getting to share it with my best friend, actress Leslie Stratton.
There is something very full-circle about getting dressed up for one of television's biggest nights with another actress and friend who understands all of the auditions, preparation, uncertainty, excitement, and work that happen behind the scenes in this business.
And yes, naturally, we documented it.
From getting ready to walking the carpet and taking in the celebrations afterward, it was one of those nights where you try to stop for a second and actually appreciate where you are.
The Governors Gala
Following the Emmy celebrations, I also attended the Governors Gala, where this red carpet photo was taken.

Events like the Emmys are glamorous, obviously, but what I love most about being in rooms like these is the creative energy. Acting can involve so much individual work: preparing auditions, training, developing characters, and constantly working toward the next opportunity; so being surrounded by an entire community of people who love storytelling is incredibly energizing.
It was also a good reminder that while there are countless different paths through this industry, everybody ultimately comes together around the same thing: telling stories that connect with people.
Back to Acting in New York and Los Angeles
While I'm now based in New York City, Los Angeles will always be an important part of my life and acting career. I spent many years working there, and I continue to work across both markets.
Attending the 2026 Emmys was an incredible reason to be back, and definitely one of those evenings I’ll remember for a long time.
